Staff are able to connect their iPad to the schools internet, using EduStar.
Connecting the iPad to the Internet
Log into your iPad
Go to “Settings”, then “Wifi”
Select “EduStar” and log in using your staff log in code (e.g. VAT)
Return to the home page using the main button
Open Safari and type into the address bar: mdm.berwickcollege.vic.edu.au
You will be prompted to type in the Group ID. This is BC
You will then be asked to type in your username and password. This is the same log in code as when you start up your computer. e.g. VAT
You then be prompted to install the new profiles.
Click install and agree to all installation requests.
The required school apps (if not already installed on your iPad) will automatically be installed onto your device.
Your school based email (@berwickcollege.vic.edu.au) will also be automatically be configured onto your iPad.
To demonstrate competency staff must submit a screen shot to Edmodo of their iPad’s settings showing the internet connected to “EduStar”.
